No change to tune.....it will boost(controlled boost-not like basic turbo systems that will go full boogy all the time) according to many variables, so boost can vary on back to back runs if conditions change.

That is what mine looked like. We per GMPD shimmed the IC forward.

Many people do not realize the tube pulls up and back into the AC when the engine torques back under acceleration.

just a minor adj and all is fine now.

Okay so since the 2.0 has a "smart turbo" for lack of any better term, it can boost more or less and it just depends on what the enviorment outside is?

Enviroment..fuel capabilities( read that when it starts knocking the modules will kill timing and boost to save the motor )engine load.. what gear you are in... wheel spin......whether or not your wearing a red shirt that day..and how heavy your lunch was................

Stage Kit AC wire rub

The wire rub needs to be handled in two ways. 1. more clearance can created by Loosing the Intercooler to Throttle body tube at the intercooler and pushing the hose on as far as possible. One HHR even added washers under the intercooler mounting bracket to gain more clearance. 2. provide a friendly rub surface on the wiring harness. Use the corrigated plastic wire covering to protect the wires from rub through.

A rubbing wire in this area can cause a loss of boost without setting a code.

Yup....wiring issue it is,,,, finally got under the car today and while it wasn't as obvious as I thought it would be, you can see where it was making contact( bad engineering to place it there when you have room nearby)...so as a temp fix until I can get it in I tied back the IC tube with a tye wrap to the radiator frame..and so far so good, no more turbo drop..so if your having this issue try the tie back for trouble shooting...
