just a heads up to everyone (seems like it's slipped some minds) but the factory Learndown Feature will affect your results, unless you're custom tuned, then you'd just have to make sure that your MAF is dialed in correctly. of course installing this intake will give good results over stock until that Learndown Feature kicks in after the 3rd key start. this intake will affect your fuel trims and possibly throw a CEL until you're custom tuned for it.

i will be driving with the factory tune for a bit to see long term results,

brought this up to matt, he made a good point....who drives an LNF car and doesnt get a tune first? or 2nd? it is the single most cost effective mod out there!

I will definitely be ordering on of these in the near future. Do I get the ZZ hot side pipe first or this? Decisions, Decisions

Do we have any numbers on expected gains yet? Also, not tuned yet (waiting to install everything), but this will work without a tune, correct?

No intake or exhaust mod is going really matter without a tune
Tune should be first or at least with mods

Steve do you mean factory GM stage 1 or factory all stock???

yeah, I realize I am not going to get much benefit until after the tune. As per some recommendations in my other thread, I am getting all my parts installed, then tuning once for everything. I can live without the benefit knowing that its all going to come to fruition soon..its like waiting for Christmas morning.

If you do that process please take extra step and dyno tune not just install canned tune

I'd love to dyno tune if I could find someone somewhat local to do the work. I am planning on running the Trifecta tune (not the budget canned item)...
