The AirRaid will sound good, but it's going to draw hot air from under the hood... It's not really a "cold air" design unless they changed it over the years (which I doubt)

Not a big deal, but worth noting.

 

Very true, but there really isn't a cold air set up for these cars because the hose leading to the intake is made of cloth and is easily heat soaked, but the unchoked breathing of the engine will help in some way. I could always make a cover, seal it off and make it like the GMPP and K&N setups.

The aftermarket companies could've used the spot where the fresh air tube comes from the strut mount and used that to form a true cold air intake, but the cars too old to reinvent, just drive it and enjoy it. Hopefully I get my money built up by Feb and get the turbo installed.
