Well, I jumped on a Wish dot com add for a $15 oil catch can kit. Arrived yesterday, installed in twenty minutes. It has a place that I was able to put a piece of stainless steel scrubbing pad material. I figure for the price, it wouldn't hurt. its mounted inside the engine compartment against the vertical core support, right next to the coolant fill. looks good and fits better than I thought it would.

OldBlue, thanks for taking the time to post all of your time with this.

Florida, sounds like fun. I drive this baby as a rideshare and so far it’s been really good to me. To be honest, I’ve take. Just as good of care with an entire new suspension, steering and brakes, now it just needs a free flowing exhaust and a better intake and it’ll be pretty much complete with a complimenting tune. I’m hoping this catch can will keep the intake clean but it wasn’t that dirty to begin with because the car was owned by a 86yo maintenance freak who did every recommended service anytime he took it in to the local Chevy dealer.

You should open up the downpipe also, the stock pipe is just 1 3/4 .

I’m looking to do the exhaust from the block to the tip, intake and tune all in a short period of time.

Just found the AirRaid intake for $123 on Amazon, brand new! had to jump on that because it was under my $150 budget for a used one, LOL!

Catch can on the 2.4 is working great, just need to change to get new lines, 3/8 is not big enough, LOL!
