As requested. Mine is mounted on the vertical core support. Already a hole there, so all I had to do was add a hole and done. Took 30 minutes to install but I’m trying to put some fuel grade hose so it’ll last. The 3/8 that worked on my Envoy 5.3 is to small for the 2.4, just need to stop at a local APS and get the proper size and it’ll look good. Just waiting for my intake to arrive on Monday and it’ll all be done.

The AirRaid will sound good, but it's going to draw hot air from under the hood... It's not really a "cold air" design unless they changed it over the years (which I doubt)

Not a big deal, but worth noting.

Very true, but there really isn't a cold air set up for these cars because the hose leading to the intake is made of cloth and is easily heat soaked, but the unchoked breathing of the engine will help in some way. I could always make a cover, seal it off and make it like the GMPP and K&N setups.

The aftermarket companies could've used the spot where the fresh air tube comes from the strut mount and used that to form a true cold air intake, but the cars too old to reinvent, just drive it and enjoy it. Hopefully I get my money built up by Feb and get the turbo installed.

Come on Don. You didn't study for the test ?
Employees, business software, solutions, training etc. I mean how hard could it be ?

Honestly. I wonder if HHR is an acronym for something else. The poster may have wound up here after a few too many adult beverages.

EDIT Seems he has another post elsewhere with the same gibberish. Some kind of troll maybe.

You never had that nightmare? You think you are going to math 103 but go to the right room number in the wrong building to listen to a lecture on women's studies.
