Update on the IMCO T924
put one in the daughters cobalt and big time better match to it than HHR

what was amazing is it is quieter all around and better pick up and will see about mileage

it really changed her LS with the 2.2 in it
i really had fun in it coming home

it had a really bad whine in the exhaust system between 70 to 80 and that is all gone.

it runs great and sounds awesome
my daughter came home from school, went for a drive and couldnt take the smiles off her face if you tried.

I'm not a mechanic by any means but what is wrong with a glass pack as far as the EPA is concerned? :surprised

In Texas glass packs are actually legal.
Problem is if there is a decibel level law then they can get you on that but they are legal as mufflers and now they pack them alot better than they used to.

I wondered because I've had them on a number of cars and never had a problem with the noise being too loud. My motorcycle is WAY louder than any glass pack has ever been and I don't have any trouble with my bike either.
