ok just to make sure im doing this right. (im used to my old explorer, nothing like this).

Order the e5, still will need springs etc.

any brands i should stay away from when it comes to mounting plates, boot etc? i figured id go with Moog, unless there is a better brand.

also gonna replace Sway Bar links w/ moog.

also do CA bushings while down there?

- yes springs come seperate from shocks/struts
- im trying to figure out about strut mounts as well..i want to change mine also
- moog should be find
- control arm bushings are up to u if u want to do them

i dont have a press so prob would just buy entire lower CA. ok i think i got it figured out what all i would need... only concern now is would the fe5 hold up to lowering/leveling springs

Yes they will. There are many SS's with the stock FE5's and lower springs.
Mine is about 1 1/2" drop all around.

I wish i could talk her into it. Ill show her the picture of yours, she thinks when a person says lowered, they mean slammed .5" from ground. what size rims do you have as well?

My car is on stock 18" SS rims with the original Michelin 225x45's.

sorry, thats what i get for trying to post with my phone that has auto correct and swipe, lol you should see some of my conversations.

didnt know SS tires were 18, thatll help the wife on know that 18s dont look bad at all, she was wantting either 17/18s on the ls.

i know we hijacked it from sway bar to suspension.. i was reading.. if i switch over to FE5 front/Rear can I still use the stock sway bar link?
