When talking with Matt from TuneTyme when I was getting my tune done, eat_world asked about the 2.2 tunes. Matt said that to his knowledge, tuning the '06's will not be available, the computer's on the '07's are like the 2.4's, therefore can be programmed.

IMO Matt at Tune Tyme is a real stand-up guy.
All my dealings with him have been first rate.
I have no reservations in recommending him (*or his HHR tunes), to anyone.

I would suggest you give him another shot - if you're serious.

I echo Mikes reply. When I left messages, Matt always called me back, and was great to meet and deal with. Plus, he stands behind his tunes. I highly recommend him.

Probably asked before, but can the '06 ECM be changed out for the '07?
Would it be worth the cost/trouble? It would seem to be cheaper than trying to change out the 2.2 for a 2.4 for any realistic performance mods.

If you want some good tech info on the ecotec's its a good idea to check out our sister site www.cobaltss.net. and nope as of right now it is not possible to swap out the ECM. In the 06 2.2 the ECM and the TCM were one piece and in the 07 they are separate.
