2.2L Performance Tech 16 valve 143 hp EcoTec with 150 lb-ft of torque

Which would give the best increase?

i went to the dealer the other day and they happeed to have a honed one in stock. compared the two. there are a few subtle diferences. dont know how much it would amount to flow wise but e exhaust out side looked a lil bigger ad so did the ports. not saying urwrog gto. just my take

And it didn't yeild alot of HP gain..what was it -- 7hp? Found a new bolt today for headers..has a set screw in the head that when tightened down spreads the bottom of the bolt and locks it in place...trick

hmmm sounds nice. if a header is what you want i would look into that spaghetto lookin one that there is a group buy going on somewhere on another site

Ya apperently, their dyno (rolleyes) proven kit, puts up about 30 odd hp to a stock cobalt when coupled with the down pipe and exhaust kit. (the whole vortex package).

You would probably scare little children pulling into the grocery store parking lot tho..........i can just hear the nasty growl now...
