I don't want to deal with any problems in the future if I need to take the HHR in for service as I'm still under warranty for quiet a while. I guess I can understand the concern with the intake side but would the dealer really refuse to fix something because I had replaced the exhaust? Whole issue is the cost difference between the GMPP and the CGS.
Thanks
I've tested two other air intake kits, Airaid and K&N and neither of them causes the engine light to come on.

Also, I've been testing the Flowmaster cat-back exhaust for over a year and the engine light has not come on.

Right now, my HHR runs the K&N FIPK intake kit, the Flowmaster exhaust and stock ECM calibration. I've never seen the check engine light on.

Correct me if I'm wrong... I don't own an aftermarket CAI ... But weren't the majority of the problems with the CEL and aftermarket CAI's due to over oiling of the filters? Where the MAF wound up with a dose of oil on it and it not reading properly?
