if you just do the cat back exhaust you will have VERY minimal drone...its if you swap the downpipe as well thats when u get the drone amplified since more air coming through.
I have the magnaflow cat back with zzp downpipe and header..there is some drone, which I then ordered a bigger zzp resonator and replaced the magnaflow one. Drone is still there but much less. I dont mind it, sounds good.
The drone happens a lot with NA cars, nothing you can really do about it

Ok, then I have a request...
Interior video while driving up a grade or steep hill for a little while.

I tried Gio. I took a ton of videos in all kinds of uphill and downhill grades. I took video of driving around town and at highway speeds. I even took video at 110+mph, but like your videos there is just to much cabin and wind noise to hear what the interior drone sounds like. Unfortunately it looks like you may have to order the system to see if you like the sound and can tolerate the drone, if any like Skyline said. I feel you will love the kit and the drone won't bother you since you will only be doing the cat back.

Just my opinion, but I doubt a video can recreate a "drone" in a playback.
Something about the actual drone sound tone or frequency pressure wave that the human ear hears.
A recording most likely won't be able to recreate that sound pressure.

Hmm ok, well I guess that is a good thing.

So under a load going up hill, drone cannot be heard over the wind noise?

I have an offer on the table, hopefully they keep the price low.

Ok guys, I'm fighting real hard on my asking price, this is the most I've spent and want to make sure this will be a good performance muffler, with little to no drone, like a factory muffler.

GM engineers and Borla worked together to come up with this system, so it must be good right?

I just hate having any drone in the car, I'm waiting on borla now, but keep having second thoughts about the drone.

Here is what I went through before:

All I've read points to Borla as making loud exhausts in general. I know the GMPP exhaust they made for the hhr is noticeably louder than stock.

Is that true? I don't want loud, I am looking for quiet with a little umph when I step on the gas, and with no drone.

Please get back to me, I almost bought this exhaust today.
