which delco?

I have a '09 witha V engine code (2.4), after reading the threads, I will get delco iridium or platium plugs, the car had 86K on it and as far as I know these are the original plugs. also should I think about replacing the wires since I'll have the air cleaner off then. what plugs do you find better? any info will hepl. thanks

check out - https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/maintenance-upkeep-50/checking-replacing-air-filter-10757/ which goes through the process of removing the Air filter housing which you will need to do to get at the plugs. One of the pictures partway down the first post in the thread shows the valve cover and the 4 coils which will have to be removed to get at the plugs. Not a difficult job at all. Good luck.

I use to up sale people to "better" spark plugs for their older Chevy's. Two weeks later they would return them for AC Delco's. My motto was Ford= Motorcraft, Chevy=AC, Mopar=Champion
