Don't know how much it would be but it might be cheaper to find a wrecked SS and get the rear axle assembly out of it (complete) does your car have ABS ? Have read were it might be a good idea to get the master cylinder also. if and when i do this i will be removing the ABS (would never have had it but the car was used . my car is a 5speed and would like to have posi also and have been watching cobalt sites for a used one .

Nope, I've got a 1LT, so no ABS. That's a good idea, but I have this thing about putting used parts on my HHR.

It is still at Hahn's. I talked to them yesterday and there has been a few delays. Okay by me, I'd rather have it right than fast. Well, you know what I mean! lol

Hay Mike how are things goin ? It was nice here for a while but the last couple of days it has been cold and snowed (couple inches on the ground again ) . Still it is enough to make me want to get the car out . Any progress on the porject .
