I gotta give ya props, you were where I got the idea! But with the different issues I've been having, my thread has stayed more active with updates, not a reflection on yours.

You know we got nothing but love for your pipes!!

Well I should be be gettign Bob back tomorrow. We tried another muffler but it didn't fit the space. Now we're going with two small Walker resonators just before the tips. Much quieter, but still louder than the IMCO.

I'll know soon enough about the performance and will have some pics, hopefully, tomorrow.

That's a gorgeous car --- where have you been? I just went through your entire gallery. How did you do the entire dash and center panel -- is it paint? It looks smooth and plasticized!! YUM!!! Love your sub and amp setup - but we have 2 big dogs

So GDZHHR -- you have done the pipes for looks (and they are great!) but you also are getting that increased power sound without sacrificing anything? I'm interested - DH's car sounds like a motor boat and I love the sound, but it's only a 6 cyl, and is all in the muffler / pipes somewhere, I think. How expensive to make MY car sound better too?

It all depends on how far you want to go.

You can get an IMCO muffler for about $35 and have it installed for about $40-50. This added a bit more tone and growl. Not loud in my estimation except when compared to stock!

I wanted functional sidepipes though. Its getting expensive. The two tips were about $125 a piece. Throw in the muffler, two resonators, fabbing the "Y" pipe and add in the rest of the labor and it adds up quick!

Picked up the car today and it is much quieter.

It needs one of the side pipes adjusted to be even on both sides but I'm happy so far. I can now hear the radio without having to blast it.

It is louder still than the IMCO I had which is on its way to the trash heap. I liked it just like this set-up better.

Now I gotta do something about that open area on the back bumper!

I update in a few days about how things are running.

Thought I'd update this, it's been a few months.

I had to un-lower the car. With the side-pipes and the hangers it was too low to even park in my own driveway. And I was very careful.

The performance is GREAT!! I really notice it since I had the tune by Tune Time. I especially like how it rumbles when it downshifts, and when I step on (meaning punch!) the gas!!

The resonators helped the sound a lot. You can't hear it from three blocks away, just 1 1/2 now!

I definately like the look of the sidepipes more that being lowered. The cutout in the bumper will be taken care of in a few weeks.
