sneek peek
Thought I'd update this, it's been a few months.
I had to un-lower the car. With the side-pipes and the hangers it was too low to even park in my own driveway. And I was very careful.
The performance is GREAT!! I really notice it since I had the tune by Tune Time. I especially like how it rumbles when it downshifts, and when I step on (meaning punch!) the gas!!
The resonators helped the sound a lot. You can't hear it from three blocks away, just 1 1/2 now!
I definately like the look of the sidepipes more that being lowered. The cutout in the bumper will be taken care of in a few weeks.

Hey Mike...
I thought your HHR looked a bit higher than before when I saw you drive by the other day. Still hoping to see your HHR standing still instead of rolling by the other direction...
So, if your don't mind me asking, what shop in town did your recent work for you? So there was no way of running those pipes out the rear?
BK
I'm gonna try and do that this week!
Starr Tire do most of my work. Great guys, just a small neighborhood shop.
With the car on the rack we just could find a route that we felt safe with the fuel line layout. Plus I was really wanting sidepipes anyway. We were looking at it though cause I was trying to look for a way to do it on Bonnie's. Would have used the OEM chome tip taken off of mine. Ended up selling it to chv_frk. Just didn't want to take anychances of her car going BOOM!
