Not me either, my oem mats are hooked to carpet, + have rubber spikes to keep them from ever moving..

Except to take out for vacuuming them...

Everyone knows that if you can just push the pedal further down, you will get more performance. So OF COURSE you will get more power if you cut a hole in the floor so you can push the pedal to the street! I do this to all my cars.

Counting the factory mat, there were 3. Call me anal about clean floors and preserving the factory mats. Winters around here require the mats that hold the melted snow.

Really glad I found this though as this weekend the wife and I took the HHR down I-77 to Rockville, SC. Would have been in the far right lane with the trucks and the four-ways on in those mountains in WV had I left those mats in there.

Naw, that hole in the floor ain't cold in the winter. I put a hinge on it, see, and a spring so it slams shut when yer just cruisin'. 'Course, it does leak a mite when it rains, so I cut another hole back near the seat to drain it. But it ain't no big hole or anything. So, you all have floor mats? I took the carpet out to save weight. Plus it stunk a bit from the rain gettin' in.
