I replaced my LF handle with one of these. Yes they are good, much better than plastic.
Lost both C/E clips but being the pivot pin installs down I have had no problems with the handles function.

 

I've had this problem for years on my Chevy HRR panel (2010) Those pesky inside handles break. I now have three of these broken. I have the new handles to freplace, but I cannot see an easy way to properly spring-load these handles. Folks here have been saying it's an easy fix, but I'm really stumped. Can anyone please let me know what the trick is to get it to properly spring load when fitting the new handles?

I did actually and was able to work out the issue. Happy to say that I got both front doors done yesterday. However, the rear door is another deal. I have a Chevy Panel, which means no windows on the back doors. The door no longer opens. I think the only way to deal with it would be to remove the whole door from the car, then pull it apart. Does anyone have a video of pulling the back driver's side door off and apart?...
