Why not BB? The kit I selected looks mighty fine in an HHR. Karen has the same sort of kit too. Us blondies gotta stick together.

You're welcome...I do alot of research before spending money on anything over $100 and thanks to a couple other members who purchased from these guys, I got a great deal and a very nice kit. You might want to spring for the 55pc kit...it's got lots of extra goodies that the basic kit doesn't have.

My favorite piece covers the center console between the seats. It's huge and looks great.

Thats one of the reasons I like the 55 pc set. It has enough pcs to make the kit look almost oem.

Does it stick OK? I ask because when I tried putting the chrome molding on the door panals it came off, as did velcro I stuck on the top of the dash to hold my parking permit. And I cleaned everything very carefully with alcohol wipes. Perhaps the adhesion promoter they sell is the secret. Any idea what chemical it is???

I belive that it is 3-m promoter. Some auto parts store carry it in small little packages. Kind of expensive if I remember.

Mine has stuck to the surfaces quite well...even the curved areas.

I tried the chrome on the doors too and mine fell off as well. Didn't want to mess with it, so I didn't pursue putting it back on. I did purchase some of the 3M adhesion promoter that Karen mentioned at NAPA. It comes in little packets about the same size as the wipes you get at restaurants.

It is called 3M Tape Promoter Wet Naps and the product code is 06396. I called and asked for 5 of them @ $1.69 each and they were able to have them shipped from their warehouse to the store in a couple hours.
