so i found a thread that said ALL HHR's have remote start..so i held down the info and reset(arrow) button on steering wheel to enter the settings and i dont see anything about remote start..has it been maybe disabled? I bought this used and it was not a rental and its an LS automatic. Can this be re-enabled by the dealership? Or is the statement about ALL HHR's having remote start just in the US and not in Canada or elsewhere?

2008 rental would not necessarily have it, but go to the "remote start without AP3" thread to find out how to make it work. My old 2008 LT rental was made to remote start with that method, I don't remember if that was before or after I got it reflashed to get the TPMS reset to work (it is the same electronic bits, the RCDLR). I don't know about LS, and you have been having TPMS probs, if my memory serves. May be Canada has a different system?

Sometime after 2008 they changed that, I know my new to me 2011 does not have it without a total reprogram and parts installation.

They charge by the time you are sitting in the waiting area ogling the sweet young thing at the customer service kiosk, not the time the tech is working.
