Help, scratches!

So, I washed my car after a 2000 mile trip to get all the bugs off. I was at car wash place and had a sponge with me to get at the pesky stuff the high pressure didn't get. Well, some of it was on there reaaly good so I hit a few spots with the backside of the sponge, you know, the brillo pad side. Yep, it got the bug stuff off but left some nice swirly marks in 5 or 6 spots around the car. Luckily, it's silver so you only see it when the light hits it just right.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of them? What if it took off the clear coat. is that bad? Would waxing cover it up? I don't know the first thing about detailing.

Scratch X, is your best Friend i love that crap! If that doesn't work, Use a buffer or take it to a detail Shop. They use better stuff then what you can buy from Advanced Auto Parts or the like.
