Hi guys;

I still have my 2007 Cobalt LT 4dr IPCW LED tail lights (I Will sell them soon on Ebay). I kept them when i traded in the Cobalt for the HHR. I have the clear ones. So, I'm in the process of ordering a set of IPCW LED tail lights for the HHR, and I was thinking of getting the black ones. Does anybody here know if they are as bright as the clear ones?

the black ones are just as bright as the rest, but the LEDs look a little smaller when lit up because the inside of the housing has kind of a flat finish, as opposed to being shiny and reflective like the rest. at least this is what i've noticed from many people who ahve posted pictures of the black, when i compare them to what my Platinum Smoke looks like. also, PM in route

That's what I thought. I guess i'll go with the smoke ones then.

I have the black or smoke ones as well. One of the reasons I went with those is just that, not all BAM! shiney. They look slammin on a white HHR

I do not know how the black led tailights would look like on the IBM but the Black on Black looks good IMO.

Don, the black is different from the smoke. have a look in the gallery at the pics of mine, the smoke is a tinted chrome basically.

QC, if you want some better pics of the Platinum Smoke, i have a much better camera now and can try getting some good shots of what the color of them really looks like. i assure you i LOVE the look of them on a black one, and i'd imagine an IBM would look astounding as well.
