I put a 2008 Cobalt leather wheel on my 2009 HHR a couple of weeks ago. If you notice the lights on the wheel buttons probably don't match the dash lights. In my case I swapped the switch modules from the HHR wheel to the Cobalt wheel. You can't use the faceplates from one wheel to the other, but you can remove the switch modules and swap them. Now I need to order the 2009 radio switch module. Besides I liked the 2009 raised buttons over the flush buttons of the 2008.
