In 23 years, I tried everything from Simonize to Protect-All on my Suzuki. The real thing that differs in my opinion is the initial shine the day you do it and how long the protection lasts. Some left residue, some didn't. I used to use a toothbrush for those that did.

This is the result of 23 years of using what ever was on sale at the time. Original owner; original paint. Must have done something right... This pic was taken a couple of weeks ago.

My little addition to this to this thread, not that it hasn't been brought up a hundred times. If you want easy, go for any 100% carnuba liquid wax, mother's, Jax, etc.. Does not last long but looks good. Great all around wax Zymol, Zaino, and good old fashioned Meguire's cleaner wax. Just clay bar it, anything will be good after that. Todd (Uma)

my point exactly...doesn't matter too much what you use...as long as you do it. Todd (uma)

For that age it looks great ,
But I'm seeing reflective blurs , Not reflective images. All waxes are not the same.

I tried to Google "turtle wax ice lawsuit" (and "turtle wax ice problems", and "turtle wax ice issues") and didn't find anything other than rumors. Do you have a link I could check out.

I did their ice clay bar followed by the ice "wax" in the fall, and it is still beading when it rains. It was very easy to put on and wipe off-no residue.

But, I have not tried to strip it, I sure don't want my clearcoat coming off...

I keep seeing the Eagle One Gel Wax w/Carnuba. Bought it, was gonna send in for the "get it free" rebate (thanks guys for the free link, and thought I was good to go. Tried it on my Blackie and was dissapointed. Followed directions, used less, used more, used terri cloth, use micro fiber towels, and used some choice curse words. Nothing got all the wax off. Had to use my Mothers Cali Gold Paste to fix the offending waxes droppings. Sorry-may work for some, seams like more effort to me. By the way, most stores by me were selling it for $3.99. Between giving away the wax after rebates, and selling it for $4 bucks-it must not be such a great thing that they have to give away...

I superglued (gel type) the foil top back on top and returned it. Sorry guys.

That is the liquid, I have both but the paste holds up a little better and I can't find that anywhere...
