Yet another infantile clay bar question
Okay, I did a search and after reading through about 10 of the 10,000 threads on the subject I didn't see an answer to my question.
When you clay bar, do you do the body color plastic parts like bumpers? I'm not sure if they are painted or the color is in the plastic itself.

Anything that is painted and like was said the glass too.
Remember you don't need to use a lube like Quick Detail to claybar with. You need to keep the car/claybar very wet. The thing that works really well is just to use a bucket full of soapy water and keep rewetting the bar. You don't even need car wash soap, dish washing soap works well to since it is going to help get the old wax off the car.

yes plastic is fine to do.
also you want to clean the least contaminated first.
ie: i clay the glass first, then the top half of the car, then the lower rockers'
and finally i clay the rims.
remember.. just like a microfiber, if you drop it on the ground, throw it out
