It seems there is a problem with the interface , order a new one from Crutchfield

 

Would anyone see a reason for it not to work, on the fact I dont have Onstar... Its meant for the Cars w/ Onstar and 6 speaker System.. But its the only one I can find for the 6 Speaker system as well...

 

I was on crutchfield last night and the option it gave me without OnStar was the gmos 04.

 

Crutchfield gives me THIS ONE the Crux CS GM11b... says with or without amp.. My fear is, the amp wont turn on, since its not specific.
With Amp is THIS ONE.. The GMOS LAN 04. when I try to contact crutchfield, with BUSY COVID HOURS, lol..
wanted to verify the Crux will turn on the factory amp, there is

 

Did you or the previous owner cut the green/orange wire mentioned in this from Crutchfield

I looked at that too. but the only wire close to a Green w/ orange, is actually Green w/ yellow.. and its not cut.

 

Ok, so maybe a call to Crutchfield tech is in order.

 

I tried, Calling and Live Chat, get some COVID 19 automated crap about call back, super busy...

 

Understandable, a lot of people bored outta their gourds, are trying to install their sound systems, or Crutchfield is short staffed in the tech department, you could cut that wire, it can be reconnected if required!
