2011 Personal Audio Link part number

Can anyone tell me if PAL - GM# 19201522 will work with the 2011 HHR? It is used to connect an ipod to the radio, but I am getting conflicting information from different GM sources.

Thanks

Dear jaskispyder,

I have read your question about the 2011 HHR compatibility with the part number of 19201522. I would be happy to exhaust my resources for you about this. However, in order for me to do this, I will need your VIN. Please, feel free to provide me with your VIN via private message if that makes you feel more comfortable. Once I get that information, I can research this for you.

Sincerely,
Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service

For a 2011 you need a 19212090 installation kit and the 22754163 Personal Audio Link.

You must have radio option US8 RADIO AM/FM STEREO, SEEK/SCAN, CD, AUTO TONE, CLOCK ETR, MP3, RDS

Dear 843de,

It is my pleasure to be on the forums with you and all the other members that are on here.

I would like to thank you for going the extra mile and taking time out of your day to try to help jaskispyder with his situation. It can be frustrating at times with this type of information since information within the parts realm is changing frequently. I have experienced this myself in my personal endeavors for my truck.

I am still working on exhausting my resources to assist him with his part number situation.

Sincerely,
Michelle, Chevrolet Customer Service

There should be a sticker in the glove box that lists all the options - look for US8 on it.
