adding my subs to a factory stereo

I have a set of jl subs and a rockford 300.1 mono amp and I want to install them into my hhr. problem is I have a stock radio and have never done an install on a factory setup. anyone got a how to or anything?

please anyone? I have 600 worth of subs and 400 worth of amps just sitting in my garage that need a home in the hhr

Yeah, it really depends on whether or not you have a basic stock stereo or the premium stock stereo with amplifier and subwoofer.

where should i hook the remote wire in my basic single cd system? I have it attached to the amp fuse in the passenger side fuse box but have to unscrew the remote wire from my amp after every trip to prevent the constant power to my amplifier. Which fuse is only on when the key is turned to ACC or the engine is on? I've tried several fuses and wires with no luck to the automatic shut off...
