Asteroid (android) Head Unit install

After a few Hours or reading and messing with my Asteroid Smart Head Unit, Ive got the thing how I wanted, Asteroid is a locked system useally and has limited apps, but it can be Rooted and can look like anything you want with a little reading, and luck.
The thing is AWESOME, and though I came to purchase this system after having a Liquid air freshener eat my dash and disable my last newly installed Head Unit, this thing is leaps ahead.

It has internet, weather, google maps, email, youtube, netflix, facebook, twiter, etc, it has a radio :) and plays music, astoundingly.

I changed out the bootloader, and even loaded a chevy bowtie on boot up.

So I bout it one Sale for half price, very happy indead, the gauge where the power plug was is a little volt meter,

I was really considering one of these but was hoping they were going to come out with a newer model. Hopefully updated performance etc. I messaged Parrot and it looks like this was a one shot deal for now at least.

Do you mind letting me know where you got it from and do they still have it on sale? My factory headunit locks up playing USB alot and would really like to get something a little nicer.

Ohh ok, Crutchfield has it for 599 when not on sale. Cheapest I found new was 509 through sonixelectronics.

Still not a bad price for what you get though. I was thinking you got for like half of what the online retailers where selling it for. 300or so. I would have jumped all over it hehe

I was wondering the same thing....

also, does the unit have it's own mic or does it use the HHR's onboard mic?

It has a duel mike with noise cancelation and to be honest its the best sounding and working blue tooth solution ive ever used,
for the volt meter I just run it from the aux power wires that are always wired
