I have 1 12" with the amp sitting next to the battery under the tray with no overheating problems.

I have two amps in the tray area with on problems. One amp pushes two tens and the other pushes my 4 door speakers and tweeters.

are you wanting sealed or ported? , what kid of demensions are you looking for?
what subs?(be as specific as possible)

you want big booms or clear bass?

I'm still in the information gathering phase so I'm not too sure what I want as far as specific products. I guess clear bass would be my priority, but I want something that can really boom out those long low bass notes too.
