One problem to overcome is keeping the adjustable shelf useable.
I have seen one HHR with a 10" in the side but you only see the sub sticking out of the side and no view of the box. I'll see if I can dig the pic up. JOEK86 I assume you don't have the factory box in yours?

Cap,I do have the factory box, but I am too lazy to pull the panels aprt. I am too busy changing wheels!LOL You can stop by any time to check out my car, just PM or email me. I am getting the custom piece installed in my dash hatch Sat., it will hold my remote DDC. Also suppose to get RTA'd.
