Any particular model or just the manufacturer in general? I can do a google search and see what people are saying.

 

Eh back when I was in school and really big into the car audio setup Focal made some really nice and really expensive speakers, not sure what quality they carry these days but Id assume similar.

Looks like good quality but it looks like they only make components and amps.Atleast I didn't see any subs..

 

Wow, what a blast from the past! I used their 5.25 components back in '93, along with 3 Impact 12's in my LeBaron Vert.

 

Focal is a prime manufacturer of speakers. (They make their own stuff.) ONly the best materials are used. Focal does their own R&D, and manufactures all the parts that go into their speakers including winding their voice coils. Speakers are always built with a + or - tolerance less than 1% of the reference speaker. Part of their development includes tuning their car speakers and crossovers in an actual car environment. Actual torture testing is done in regards to temperature and humidity extremes. Focal also owns one of THREE anechoic testing chambers in the world. (Harmon Kardon owns another.) Focal OEM'd speakers for Volvo due to their great longevity and resistance to the elements.

They DO make subs, some of the best, most accurate, and most efficient in the world.


In the home audio world, JM Lab speakers (a Focal Company) are highly regarded world-class speakers.
