Help needed - middle of install - poor speaker sound quality

The instructions for using the harness with the factory amp are pretty clear, use the RCA connections, not the speaker wires. Is that how you have it wired now?

Maybe stop by a local Stereo Shop .. See what they can do for you ..

Yes, I have it hooked up just as the directions say to do - RCA connections and not the speaker wires.

Yeah, still sounds like it is the adapter causing the problem...

Yes, it does work like a normal/older adapter as you hook up to the speaker leads. I didn't get the premium as I knew I would be gutting the system after XM expired. Low and behold, on the first day after XM expired I started removing panels.
