no, I am not using the stock amp. It does sound real good with an after market amp. and doesn't take any space away.

if i can fit 2-10" CVT under the rear seat of a Tundra you can install one correctly in an HHR

They now make the cvt in 8"...just bought one and will install it tomorrow.

Take some pics and let us know how it fits. I'm considering the same installation. I'm curious to know if it needs a spacer too and whether it will bang against the stock grill or trim panel.

I also am intrested in the CVT. Are you going to power it with the stock amp or aftermarket? Does it come with a grill? I added the box to my HHR and need a grill.

Does not come with a grill. They do have the grills on crutchfield.com though. I am planning on running it with a bridged 50wx50w JVC amp fed through an old MTX crossover for now...if that isn't good enough then I have the 250w sony standing by.
