My don't take apart that box because they are factory sealed and are designed for those specific subs.

 

audiobahn does not custom tune their boxes. hence the low cost. the JL on the other hand is custom tuned for the sub, thus the box is 50% of the cost of the package. dont believe the hype. you can buy the same exact box as the audiobahn at a fleamarket.

 

What I meant was that you could not slide the old subs out and put new ones in without taking the box apart.

 

The only thing I'd want to do is change the neon to red instead of blue.

The main thing I'll miss about the JL is that is was a tuned JL box. Down the road, I may go back to that, but for know I just have so much other stuff that I can do with the $400 dollar difference. (hmmmmm, that just about what it would cost to have a fellow meber from Texas do a little custom work we talked about.....)

 

you simply take out the screws on the front plexi panel and replace the subs. no more than 5 minutes
