Lightbulb Which radio?

I am purchasing a 2007 LS which has no radio at all so I need some help in outfitting my new ride with a good sound system. I am wondering what would be a good system to put in since there is nothing there currently. I would like to keep it reasonable and woudl like to have it include AM, FM, DVD, Sirius, Ipod compatible and work with the steering wheel controls i will eventually put on. Can someone give me some suggestions. THANKS

Welcome -

Ebay always has factory HHR stereos w/ CD & etc, out of the up-graded HHR's

Without the radio are you getting door chimes/turn signal clicks?
The factory radios may seem like common sense but they are pretty basic and would require a reflash from the dealer adding to the cost.
For a reasonably priced double-din DVD screen, try Clarion or Alpine. Even those are around $400 though. Plus the added cost of the harness and wheel control interface. If you want navigation, add at least a hundred more. Some also require add-on parts for ipod and sirius.

Question Still Undecided

Thanks for the info! To answer your question about the chimes, NO i dont and i thinki like it! A nice quiet car that doesn't "talk" back at me. I am still undecided on what to install but I have decided to forgo the dvd player and screen in front, cant watch it while driving anyway LOL! I am leaning toward a single din aftermarket with bluetooth. I did purchase a very nice drop down dvd player for the rear from Best Buy on clearance $100 for a $429 unit. Seems that they are getting out of the mobile dvd business, there loss my GAIN.
