not sure if i am going to do a glass box again, as i need the room for my bicycles.the space behind the front seats is an option too.

Rick:

Nice work! What kind of material is that covering the amp rack? Is their a how-to thread in the near future on your setup?

I had it done at Al & ED's in Huntington Beach By JT. The amp rack is grey Swede. I will take it apart this weekend and take pics and post. Great install still have access to spare, batt, and with the plastic cover no lost cargo space. If you look in my members section I have more pics of the install.

Checked out the pics. You've done a nice job on the ride! A&E did a good job on the install...I did something similar...but I did it myself and I'll probably change the vinyl in the next couple of weeks and some other cosmetic changes. Hopefully in time for the HHR run in Monrovia that bud has setup...

so how bad do all your car rattle when you turn up the bass? I have a slight rattles in the hatch mechanism ( i think) and I'm still stock. I used sticky foam tape to pad behind the lisence plat and between the plate and the cover/frame. that worked good, but I dont know how to stop the interior rattle in the back hatch. Possibly dynomat might help.

I have a few rattles but by far the worst comes from the rear wiper arm. Ever since I added a second 12" and wired them so my amp runs at 2 Ohms the wiper blade jumps like a 1/4 - 1/2 inch away from the window when the bass hits so it is constantly vibrating. If I turn my stereo up loud enough I can't hear it inside but it's annoying when standing outside the vehicle. I tried using the rear wiper in the rain a few times for a laugh. My rear wiper is completely useless in rain because it skips across the window hardly making any contact.
