It is easy to tap a switched (RAP) circuit from any of the "unused" fuses on the BCM. The RAP is what controls the "on for 10 minutes" function.

does anyone know on the axesss lan 04 what the 3. 5 auxiliary cable is for what do i do with it

What is your yead unit? Does it have a 2.5mm or 3.5mm with "SW" on it?

some units use thr 3.5mm plug and some use a wire for steering wheel control.

Check the sw control manual.

I'm not understanding your question. I know Pioneer (and others) and Kenwood/JVC radios require a different connector with the kit to retain steering wheel controls. Pioneer, for example has a smaller aux jack to plug in the rear of the head unit. Just stick with the instructions for your particular radio and everything will go fine. The only issue I had was when I added a new steering wheel and Metro (Axxess) customer service helped me with that process.
