I ordered 2 of the Monroe QS and tried to put one in today, only to find the mounting bolts on top don't align to the bracket under the hood.

They both looked slightly off compared to OEM.

I have a 2008 LT1, 2.2
Everything I can find says these should be the right ones.

What am I missing?

part numbers would help.

172179 (Left) (Right) LST WITH an asterisk on the label is the correct numbers.
