i posted back in 7/2016 that i got a rear from a 07 cobalt ss 4 door. well i finally put it in. fit great. was a easy install. the car i got was in a flood and had 70 k on it. i replaced the e brake cables from rock auto they were cheap. i also got power stop calipers from rock auto that was my big problem. they sent ones with different e brake connections twice. power stop was great to work with and said that part # has a few different e brake hook ups. and they sent me correct calipers and shipped to me fast. here are some pics

wrong calipers

old original calipers

About what was the cost of the rear disc brake conversion, and where did you locate the kit?

Yeah... It's not a kit. It's a DIY install of a rear axle out of an HHR SS or Cobalt, in most cases. A few have made their own weld on brackets and used the original axle.
