Cobalt/HHR geometrically the same?

I had the "knuckle" break on my 06 LT when someone turned left right into my driver side front wheel. It broke between the strut mounting bolts, just like HHHHHHHH describes it happened to him.

The knuckle is aluminum, not cast iron.

I did find one in a junkyard to replace the broken one.
