If you figure out what it is let me know. Mine does the exact same thing. At least once the car warms up it stops.

Many people have headliner noise from the tape separating. Yes, they taped the headliner to the roof.

I thought the noise was from where the Tape/velcro came loose that holds wires for lights etc.... that what it was on mine.

Oh yeah... Glad to know I am not the only one. The dealer looked at me like I was nuts. He had it for a week while I was on vacation and let it freeze into a block of ice in the parking lot and they couldnt replicate the issue. It still squeaks like an old barn door for about 5 minutes of driving. He did spill that they have had suspension bushing issues... unreal. I think GM whent cheap on the suspension parts!

Yeah, it got cold here (-34C, which is about -32F) back in late December.
I then noticed a rattle which I thought was the door, but after failing to replicate it at the dealer (when I had it in there when it flooded), I realized it was the headliner or some loose parts rattling around in the sunroof assembly.

I thought there was a TSB on that sunroof issue, although some say its the tape from the headliner.

Now, after obvsiouly warming up for last month or so to a bearable -10C and warmer, everything was ok, until late last week when it got a bit cold again (-20c) and now the right front side creaks and groans and does the odd high pitch squeak.. I too first though it was a tire rubbing against the plastic wheel well issue (and thought it was the XM cutting out and giving the sound of static), but not the case. In the past week, its gotten steadily worse. After it sits in the heated garage at work, it warms up a bit, but it still there after a while.
I assume its a shock issue, but was fine for the first few months of cold weather.

Hoping I can hold out long enough for the SS Brake Issue parts to come in, so I can get it both looked at once at the dealer...but more then a week and I'll have to break down, its starting to rattle and creak like a early 80's pickup truck, and the sunroof rattle is driving me nuts too.

Ya, haven't even had my 09 LT for a month now. Maybe 1500KM on it now. We were spoiled with a bit of almost warm weather in Calgary lately, but the last few days have been pretty cold. First noticed the nasty spring squawking going over a big speed bump. Thought I may have popped a strut already. It seemed to only be from the front passanger side suspension. I guess it's "good" to hear this is "normal".... Living in Calgary, this means I'll only have to hear it 6 months out of 12.
