Thanks for all the info! I bought the 300mm set and noticed right away that the boot was not secured and the grease came right out when pumped in i did a test fit anyway to see how it sets, and to install it I had to jack up the control arm but it still went in. Reviews online at Amazon say that the longer link will stiff up the suspention for a better ride but I agree with the post above that it would probably throw off the alignment of the other parts, plus the added stress would probably not be good for the long term of the joint. Just speculation tho I am by no means an expert. I will be sending these back and buying the 250mm/9.8" ones.

Thanks for all the info...I ended up getting the Dorman arms through Amazon Prime as they are heavy duty and highly rated...hope I don't need to come back to this subject for a long time. Thanks again!
