Yeah, I would be leary of permanently modding my towers. We are still early in the HHRs run.
How many after market struts are available for PTs after all these years.?
Whatever that number is may be a good indicator of what will happen to HHR support.

 

IF the HHR ever sells in the numbers the PT has. In 2005 the PT sold 130,000+, that's about how manyy HHR's TOTAL have been made.

 

GM sells replacement shocks.. bammm

 

Yeah, I already had to replace the left rear shock at less than 9000 mi. It was under Warranty, so no biggie! Dealer didn't have one in stock though Took a few days to get it!

 

Do you have your vehicle lowered ?

I replaced my rear shocks with monroe coil overs...
took out the stock bushings, install the stock bushing into the new shocks..
