If you used a paperclip to get a OBD code you were in a time machine back to 1990. And you probably blew a fuse.

No mention of rear brakes?

grab the intermediate shaft and see if it is loose.

ya old school with the paperclip lol no blown fuse tho and I did state rear brakes were set up great and in good shape . only 107,000 km on car . i gave the tie-rod shaft a shake /pull wiggle and it seemed solid
