Front strut service life ?
I was not a mechanic was in sales and marketing, but I was building a car designd the chassis an suspension was going to ba 1924 C cab delivery wagon mid-engine with a small block chevy with a 68 corvaie 4 speed trans. with a Kelmark adapter untile the wife wanted the garage back, should have divorced her sooner.
I bought my car used so I am assuming from the lack of other things done to it they were the original and I got 74K out of them but that was pushing an extra 10k out of them. I still have a clunking sound from the front.
When I pulled my stock struts @ 65k they were absolutely done.
Moog makes a end link that has grease fittings, also find out the diameter of the sway bar & bushing size(if they're not completly fried the mm size is molded on the outside, my 08Cobalt uses 19mm) and buy some aftermarket polyurethane ones . Some of them have grease fittings also. But replace both, as both can be a source of knocks & squeaks.
