My driveway is on an incline so I had to do it in front of my house where it is level.

There are no instructions. To install rear leveling springs;

1) Jack up HHR. Support with jack stands.
2) Remove tires.
3) Remove nuts holding brake line bracket in place.
4) Remove bolt holding shocks in place. Do both sides at the same time.
5) Springs will just about jump out at this point.
6) Remove upper and lower spring pads from stock springs and place them into new springs.
7) Cut the bumpstops if so inclined. I did not find it necessary.
8) Put it back together.

In all it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to do the rears. If you are doing the fronts, it will take you quite a bit longer, plus you will need some specialized tools and will have to have the front end aligned. If you search this site you will find additional tips on installing your springs...or just about anything else you want to install on your HHR.
