Everywhere I look for new brakes does not have a option for the non brembo HHR SS's. Whats brakes do I need? Are the rotors and pads the same as the brembos?

 

it's my understanding that the HHR SS without Brembos has the same brakes as the 05-07 Cobalt SS Supercharged.

 

I just installed non brembo rotors on mine. From my research, the pads are the same as the standard HHR, the SS just uses a different material. But any for the non brembo will work. I didn't cross reference the non brembo and brembo rotors, but I imagine they are different since all the ones I looked at stated non brembo.
