Intermediate Steering Column Shaft Issue.

Intermediate Steering Column Shaft Issue.
On my 2010 1LT I am just now starting to have the Steering Column Rattle.
The car of course is out of Warranty now but only has 25,000 miles on it.
I contacted My Local Chevrolet Dealer with the Vin number which they ran and do not come up with any GM assistance program to fix it.
I have seen on the HHR site here reference to a 100,000 mile replacement for this issue.
I thought that because of the past GM Law Suit with the Original Vender that they were going to honor these complaints.
Any suggestions or information that might help me make my case ???

Probably a waste of time but because of the exceptionally low mileage I think I will Test Chevrolet for a Goodwill solution.
I know it's a long shot but what the heck ... It's worth a shot.
Or .... Maybe just wear a set of headphones and put on some good music when I go over a gravel road at low speed ????
No Problem with normal diving on paved roads but maybe it will get worse as it gets more miles on it.
The car only had 14,000 miles on it when I bought it but the B to B had just expired then.
I bought another 2010 earlier with the same exact equipt. and had the shaft replaced at 22,000 miles under warranty. It did fix the problem.
