try some local parts stores for some spring clamps. they're simply two bolts on and a two fittings that either compress or expand the coil. pretty simple, I know that checkers sells them in packs of 2 for aroud 7 bucks. use about 3 on one spring, evenly space then just turn the bolts to your compression liking, lock the bolts together and its done. it just clamps two coils togeather. work pretty good for what they are. i'll try to run by checkers tomorrow to snap a pic. so you can keep your stock springs and stock ride.
