Well apparently these guys are local and about 20 miles from my work (and along the freeway I drive to get to work)

What questions should I ask them?

I've never dealt with springs or anything so I have no idea what to ask.

I know of one member here that had them on his wagon...capp...don't think he had good luck with them because he replaced them with a set of Canucks.

310 front
260 rear

is what the guy said and there is a 10% discount since they aren't in stock

he also said most guys don't even ask about that.

I'm telling you, talk to Capp before you buy them. I know his wagon has very little miles on it and he's tossed these for a reason.

You can always block the car at the finished height you would like it to sit at and heat the coils. Just make sure the heat is even, and not just one spot.

Just keep the torch moving. If you let it sit in one spot, you will over temper them and that is where the break will occur. Should take no more than a few minutes per spring.

By even heating the coils the slight twist is spread over a larger area. The weight of the car will bring it down as you heat. This is a bit tricky though cuz in order to insure its even you have to leave the wheels on, and let the car settle onto blocks at your desired finished height. The easiest way would be to do this somewhere where there is a full lift or a pit.

I looked into Airride Tech they have a great kit but it was $2500.00 so I spent $114.00 on a set of Canucks, very smooth and great handling , the HHR doesn't bottom out and no danger or a bag blow out , I have had to stop and assist a few mini trucks on bags with an air line or bag issue , so I stayed away from bags.
